Why
PLAY-A-LIKES?
First, our clubs do not infringe on any copyrights, trade dress, or
patents of other manufactures. Clones and knock-offs clubs are about
imitating appearance. There is no guarantee that the club will play
like the OEM branded golf club. While portions of our product
line-up resemble pro-line clubs, they are not represented or sold as
copies, or imitations of the models highlighted in the respective
comparisons. We believe these offer economical and legal
alternatives when properly fitted by one of our staff. As with all
golf equipment companies, we can not guarantee performance given the
multitude of factors that influence a golfers results. All other
trademarks are owned by their respective companies. We offer
play-a-likes to satisfy the preferences and budget of our customers
but use the same fitting process for all clubs to ensure the best
club for the individual...not the masses.
Why
PLAY-A-LIKES are better than clones or knockoffs?
We can build the clubs to the
specifications of the OEM branded clubs - same shafts, grips,
length, loft, and lie in most cases. We purchase OEM specifications
and factory shaft replacement guides each year for repair purposes
but this also gives us the info necessary to build a club as close
to the OEM club as possible. This is why our
customers have been so
satisfied and we have been around since 1996 while others have
come and gone. Clones and knock-offs on the other hand often us
2nds for grips and commercial grade steel....you get what you pay
