  Twin Tuned

  • Introducing the Golfsmith Twin Tune - a unique iron head design that incorporates proven adjustable weighting technology. A two-piece, hollow core construction combined with weight tune interchangeability allows players to really dial in on the best weighting to maximize both feel and forgiveness. This deep cavity design features a hollow core that frees up mass that is used to increase the sole width and create two weight ports - one in the toe and another in the heel. Each head comes installed with two 2-gram weight screws. The irons can then be "tuned" by changing out the 2-gram weights for heavier weights (4.5 grams steel or 7 grams tungsten, sold separately). This fine-tuning allows a player who consistently makes contact on the toe side of center, for example, to place more mass in the toe port to help promote solid feel and improved stabilization at impact.

  Tour Cavity Forged

  • Carbon forged design Unique undercut cavity design Progressive bounce angles Designed for middle and lower handicap players the Golfsmith Tour Cavity Forged Iron heads provide a soft, solid forged iron feel with some increased forgiveness over traditional, compact forged irons.
  • By going to a two-piece design and undercutting the back cavity, the center of gravity (CG) is moved back from face, giving performance previously not possible in a forged design. Repositioning the CG raises the Moment of Inertia (MOI) and increases stability.
  • The S45C carbon steel face and hosel are forged separately from the back cavity to allow for an undercut cavity design, making it the first forged undercut iron available.
  • Progressive offset from 6mm in the long irons to 3.5mm in the short irons.
  • Loft and lie may be adjusted +/- 3 degrees.
  • Bounce angles on the set start at 3° on the 3- and 4-irons and progress to 7° on the pitching wedge, allowing for lofts to be made stronger without the fear of creating a negative bounce angle.
  • 6mm to 3.5mm Offset

Tour Cavity

  • An old favorite takes on a brand new look. Redesigned for 2005, Tour Cavity irons continue to offer avid, mid-to-low handicap players a solid, game-improvement design with clean, classic shapes.
  • Precision cast from soft 304 steel, this affordable set of irons offers the same hardness rating as the carbon steel used for most forged irons (HRB85). The softer material also means that Tour Cavity irons are more easily adjusted for custom loft and lie angle changes.
  • The split-level cavity places more mass in the lower half of the blade, and the arched ‘muscle’ design offers a more solid feel on off-center hits than a true blade, yet the Tour Cavity irons still retain a ball flight and feel of workability that is very reminiscent of a blade.
  • The material properties, split-level design, progressive offset and the medium topline appearance at address offer better players the look and features they want, but the forgiveness they need for less-than-perfect ball striking.

    JetStream

  • 431 Stainless Steel w/S-290 Steel Face
  • Like the Jetstream fairway wood heads, the iron head faces feature a strong S-290 steel with a super thin 1.9mm thickness.
  • The deep undercut cavity removes mass that is strategically placed in the heel and toe to improve stability.
  • Player testing results revealed that the S-290 received more votes for its soft, hot feel than other super strong steels that felt harsh to middle handicap players who prefer a soft feel.
  • The beveled rear trailing edge on the sole provides clean contact and still allows for a wide sole to position the center of gravity back from the face.
  • Chrome plating ensures long-lasting rich looks.
