Jet Stream Black Box - 450cc Titanium

  • Golfsmith's Jetstream family of drivers and fairway wood heads feature innovative face technologies that makes these some of the hottest woods with the most consistent ball velocities.
  • Both the drivers and fairway woods incorporate variable face thickness technology that provides a consistent fade flexure on center and off-center impacts. What this equates to is a very consistent coefficient of restitution over the entire clubface.
  • The 451 beta titanium faces are fire forged from billet material under 3000 tons of high impact compression. This process increases the integrity of the material properties and creates a high performance impact surface for maximizing ball control.
  • The 451 beta titanium material used for the driver faces is the same aerospace alloy used in aircraft impact-resistant black boxes (flight data recorders).
  • Designed to withstand high compression impacts without fracturing, the forged black box material is an outstanding choice for the ultimate in premium driver head construction and performance

Jet Stream Black Box - Fairway Woods

  • The JetStream fairway woods utilize a super high-strength steel face constructed of S-290.
  • This new material has a tensile strength two times that of 17-4 stainless steel and enables the fairway wood faces to be 1.6mm in thickness.
  • What this means to the golfer is a coefficient of restitution that previously was unavailable in fairway woods (.830COR) for increased ball velocity at impact.
  • The fairway wood heads also incorporate a patented hosel design that permits adjustability of the lie and face angles.
  • 3w - 15° (.5° closed) 175cc  / 34mm

Hi-COR Hot Face 460cc Titanium Driver

  • HI-COR Hot Face titanium driver heads utilize a forged 15-3-3-3 beta titanium face, which is 30% stronger than 6-4 titanium. The original HI-COR Plus became the best selling Golfsmith titanium driver head once the buzz traveled through the clubmaking community for its ability to offer a high launch and low spin.
  • The HI-COR Hot Face expands the original HI-COR Plus concept. Its unique shape and internal weighting sweeps mass toward the rear center of the head. The .350" hosel bore provides maximum stability at impact.
  • 9.5° (Square) 460cc
  • 11.5° (.75° closed face) 450cc

Hi-COR Hot Face Fairway Woods

  • The HI-COR Hot Face fairway wood heads are designed for middle to higher handicap players seeking mid-to-high ball flight in a mid-to-oversize design
  • The ultra-strong 15-7 stainless steel face is only 2.2mm thick, compared to most 17-4 stainless fairway head faces that are 3mm thick.
  • By crafting the face from 15-7 steel, mass can be placed in the rear portion of the body to provide a low, deep center of gravity and optimal launch.
  • Face heights remain at a constant 36mm through all fairway lofts, allowing each loft to take advantage of the strong face material.
  • 3w - 15° (.5° closed) 185cc
  • 5w - 19° (square) 175cc
  • 7w - 23° (square) 165cc

Tour Cavity Forged Face Titanium Woods - 460cc

  • The 460cc head size with two rear-sole weight ports is made possible by its T3 (Thin Top Shell Technology) crown design. Most modern titanium driver heads require a crown thickness of 0.8mm to 1mm to retain durability.
  • By incorporating a special nano-technology polishing compound, combined with sophisticated modeling, Tour Cavity Forged T3 driver heads have more thickness at the joining area of the face and top, but achieve 50% thinner walls than most driver heads in the crown.
  • This allows for an all-titanium driver head with the playability and weight distribution of titanium/carbon crown
  • Comes with two 4.5 gram steel sole screw weights installed in the rear sole ports and a wrench. Golfsmith screw weights, available in 2-gram and 7-gram, may be interchanged to customize head weight and ball flight.
  • 9° (square), 10° (square), 11° (.75° closed face)
  • 460cc, 58° lie

  • The T3, combined with the rear sole "cavity," concentrates mass through the step in the rear center while also contributing to the solid feel and sound, while the minimal offset hosel allows players to "work" the ball.
  • The .350" hosel bore provides extra stability and control at impact. Each head comes with two 4.5 gram rear sole screw weights and a wrench. Golfsmith weight screws may be interchanged to customize head weight and ball flight.
