  Wishon 991c Irons

  • Classic profile shape full cavity back game improvement design for golfers who search for a high level of off-center hit forgiveness but with a classic shape and size head design.
  • Slight bottom cavity undercut weight distribution to keep a substantial amount of weight very low and closer to the sole to assist with increasing trajectory.

  • Progressive offset on the 991C ranges from 5mm on the #3 iron to a slight 2mm on the wedges. The offset is designed to not appear too strong in the playing position, but still to allow its contribution to slightly increasing the launch angle and allowing a slight more rotation of the face back to square on the downswing.
  • Lie angles are progressive from slightly upright on the long irons to standard on the short irons, while the high loft wedges return to a slight upright lie to allow better set up for short shots where the golfer grips down.
  • Loft angles are designed to be slightly strong, yet not so strong as to reduce launch angle too much or make the long to middle irons too difficult to properly get airborne.
  • Sole design is cambered from front to back with both the leading and trailing edges 'broken' to allow ease of play from either bent or bermuda, as well as rye or bluegrass in the rough.
  • Pure 431 stainless steel which is heat-treated to allow ease of loft and lie alterations for customizing, and passivation treated to increase surface durability.
  • Finished in a bright smoked satin polish with glass bead blast highlights and metallic coated back cavity surface.

  • Model 770CFE irons represent the first set of irons designed with a forged steel, CNC machined, variable thickness face design.
  • The 770CFE irons are designed with a variable thickness forged face to offer golfers a little higher ball-speed to swing-speed ratio than is possible with a conventional thick face iron design, but also to offer golfers a much better off-center hit forgiveness because of the variable thickness face.
  • Because irons increase in loft progressively through the set, the actual force of deflection of the face will decrease as loft increases. To help maximize the amount of face deflection as loft increases in the irons, the forged variable thickness face design changes in face material composition and thickness. Thus, the #3 and 4 iron faces are forged from Carpenter 455 high strength steel and are designed with a variable thickness of 2.4mm/1.9mm. Then the #5, 6, and 7 iron faces are forged from 17-7 stainless steel and machined to a variable thickness of 2.5mm/2.0mm. And the #8 through wedge faces are forged from soft 304 stainless and machined to a variable thickness of 2.6mm/2.2mm.
  • In addition, as loft increases in a set of irons, the actual position of impact on the face will change. To accommodate this natural tendency in iron impact position, the thicker center section of the faces changes in position through the set. Thus the 770CFE irons are individually computer modeled for face thickness dimension, face thickness position, and face material for each iron in the set to offer the best individual performance possible in a full set of irons.
  • All 770CFE faces are CNC machined after forging to ensure precision in the face design. The CNC machining marks can be seen on the back of each face. The body of each 770CFE iron is designed to maximize the area of the face available for face deflection, as well as to move as much of the weight of each head further back from the face and shaft centerline to assist in launch angle. The sole design of the 770CFE is designed to keep a large amount of mass low, but by beveling the back edge of the sole the sole width is not too wide and ensures proper sole playability from all types of turf and lie conditions. 770CFE irons are finished in a bright satin polish finish, with all faces CNC machined for precision dimensional specifications.
  • Offset 5mm to 4mm

Wishon Series 7 Trajectory Control Irons

  • 752TC employs special design features to enhance the Trajectory Control of the ball. 752TC is a full, deep cavity back iron with more side wall weighting for higher perimeter weighting which means better feel and more distance when hit off-center.
  • 752TC blade shape features a more traditional topline slope angle but in a slightly larger overall size to enhance the perimeter weighting of the higher mass side wall design.
  • 752TC features a thicker top line and an extended weight pad off the back of the sole to move the Center of Gravity farther back from the shaft; Moving the CG back from the shaft helps to increase the trajectory of the ball for more carry distance and better backspin.
  • The rear weight pad reduces in size as the loft increases down through the set because as loft increases, there is less need for design features that increase trajectory.
  • Offset is progressive from 6mm on the #2-iron down to 2mm on the wedges. More offset places the CG farther behind the shaft which in turn increases the trajectory on the lower lofted ironheads.
  • 752TC irons also feature the TWGT "Smart-Sole" design - wide sole area for lower CG but with the front and back edges of the sole radiused up to reduce sole surface contact for less chance of "fat shots."
  • Finished in Brilliant Mirror polish with laser cut TW logo metal medallion in the back cavity.

  • Model 321Li hybrid long iron replacements are undoubtedly the ultimate in true full hybrid long iron design due to the accompanying design of the matching GI-335 graphite iron shaft, or the Series 5 Steel .335" tip shaft.

  • TWGT research has shown that the shaft can be a major contributor to the launch angle of any club, but only if the shaft is designed to bend/deflect an amount much greater than is typical with a conventional iron shaft.

  • 321Li full hybrid long iron heads are designed in a #1 thru 6-iron and will match with any set of irons to offer the golfer a much higher trajectory from the bending of the unique .335" iron tip design of the GI-335 and Series 5 Steel shafts.

  • 321Li full hybrid long iron heads are designed with a hosel to face position that is much more like a true iron for the proper appearance and set up at address.

  • A cross-section view of the wall thickness of the 321Li head design shows another reason for the easy playability of this model - the rear wall of each 321Li is extremely thick to pull the CG farther back from the shaft to further assist with increasing the launch angle of the shot.

  • 321Li heads are designed with 0" roll just like an iron, but with a slight 20" horizontal bulge radius to match with the location of the CG farther back from the face than a typical ironhead.

  • 321Li full hybrid long iron heads are finished in an attractive dark grey metallic with bright satin highlights on the sole and toe/heel.

  Wishon 550c & 550m Forged Irons

  • 550C is a true Cavity-back design, which means it is forgiving on off-center hits and recommended for all levels of players.
  • TWGT uses a 5-step forging process which is one more step than most all other forged irons; the additional step is done to compress the steel tighter in the head and to help reduce the amount of grinding that is required to prepare the irons for nickel/chrome electro-plating. This also ensures more consistency of shape in the set.
  • Progressive offset from 3.5mm in the #2 and 3 irons, down to 2.0mm in the short irons is more like what the pros on the PGA Tour have started to like, more than a total non-offset design. 550C is designed to allow clubmakers to "mix-and-match" with the 550M muscle-back forged iron - to choose any number of irons from each set to make up the full set.
  • Most typical will be to use the #2, 3, 4 from the 550C with the #5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW from the 550M.
  • 550C-AW is the gap wedge designed for shotmaking in between the PW and SW. 550C are a true forged carbon steel design, made from a softer alloy of Carbon Steel called 1035C with lower carbon content for allowing the forging process to pack the steel tighter and improve grain structure and reduce internal voids.
  • 550C has a true "tour grind" shape sole design, which means it is slighly rounded from the front to back, and also has the leading edge and trailing edge rounded to prevent the sole from sticking in the turf when it is used.
  • All scorelines, hosel bore and even all the logo/wording on each 550C forged ironhead are CNC machined and not stamped for greater accuracy and higher quality.
  • Finished in Bright Mirror Double Nickel/Chrome plating with a unique new "mini-shot" blast surface in the back cavity.
  • Available in any set make up or any individual heads #2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, AW, SW

Wishon 785 HF (Hot Face)  Full Set Hybrid Irons

  • 785HF (Hot Face) irons. The first full set of true hybrid body irons intended to be a full set alternative to conventional thin body irons.
