949 Graphite/Titanium Composite Driver 390cc

  • Two piece construction - face is forged SP700 Titanium precision-welded to a pure 6/4 Ti body – that whole body of Ti is then bonded to the compression molded long-fiber graphite to comprise the full 390cc size and shape of the 949G/Ti body. So the face is forged SP700 and the hosel/sole/toe and heel and back sections are 6/4 titanium.
  • 35g tungsten weight piece in the rear back of the head so that the Center of Gravity of the driver is moved back in the head much farther than possible with any all-metal, all-Ti driver
  • Same launch angle as a 12 degree driver, but with a real 10.5 degrees of loft. This means the ball speed is higher for this same launch angle. Lower loft means higher ball speed, but unless the lower loft can be matched with a higher launch angle, that ball speed increase does no good for increasing distance. The 949G/Ti combines the optimal launch angle from the more rear located CG with lower loft to bring about better overall distance.

  • 949G/Ti also has the GRT variable face roll radius design. With 0 roll on the face, golfers who mis-hit the ball vertically on the face will get a much higher launch angle on low face hits than with drivers made with conventional roll radius. Yet shots hit higher on the face will not "balloon" too high

  • 949G/Ti uses the 'wrap-around' forged face construction to maximize face deflection

  • Differences between the 949G/Ti and the Callaway Fusion:
    • Callway Fusion has no extra mass in the rear of the head. Thus all of the heavier metal of the titanium is in the front of the head design, which results in a lower trajectory for any loft than the 949G/Ti
    • The 949G/Ti not only has the 35g tungsten weight piece in the back rear of the head, but the sole and the back of the head are made from the heavier Titanium to help further pull the CG lower and back

Wishon 725 Fairway Wood - Forged Face

  • The custom C2M30 high strength steel could have easily been used to make the COR rating of the Drivers over the USGA limit of 0.830, but we modified the forged faces to bring the COR just under the USGA limit.
  • Faces of all the 725CrMo woods are forged from a true billet of the C2M30 steel for superior grain structure and consistent strength
  • Faces are all forged in a "cup-face" construction to keep all the welds from touching the back of the face for maximum spring.
  • True billet forging ensures consistent grain structure across the face for maximum strength and stress control at impact.
  • 725CrMo fairway woods have a 35mm face height, and a dual radius sole design.
  • Finished in dark cobalt gloss with bright satin polish sole and glass bead blast sole edge highlights.
  • RH: 3w - 14°, 5w - 17.5°, 7w - 21°

  • LH: 3w - 14°, 5w - 17.5°

  • Square Face Angle - all clubs

  • Fairway Woods: Steel Shaft  - $135, Graphite $155

515 GRT Ti + Copper Backweighted Drivers and Steel Woods

Off to Golf Digest with you...

  • 515GRT faces are forged in a 'wrap-around' face construction to keep all welding (plasma welding on the drivers) off the back of the face and maximize face deflection for the highest COR/spring face rating allowed under the USGA Rules of Golf. For precision, the faces are CNC machined both on the back as well as the front. TWGT computer modeled variable thickness has been proven to maximize ball speed from off-center hits for greater distance. 515 Driver face material is 10-2-3 Beta Titanium, an ideal alloy for strength + elastic modulus.
  • The 515GRT drivers are finished in a striking midnight navy blue see-thru finish, with satin polish on the exposed titanium surfaces.
  • 515GRT Fairway woods are the first 3, 5 and 7-wood heads to achieve the USGA limit for COR of 0.830.
  • 515GRT Fairway woods are designed with true 0" roll for a much more consistent launch angle and ball flight.
  • 515GRT Fairway Woods are designed with a true forged "Cup-Face" construction to maximize the performance of the faces.
  • Head shape on the Fairway Woods is a classic slight "pear-shape", finished in midnight blue die coat with bright satin polished sole and face nicely matching the 515 Driver.
  • 515GRT Fairway Wood body is investment cast from 15-5 stainless, face is cup-face forged from the new Carpenter Tour Alloy 275 with yield strength higher than Carpenter 455 and 465 alloys.
  • Driver Options: 360cc 9.5°, 440cc 10.5°,  390cc 11°
  • 3w - 15°, 5w - 18.5°, 7w - 21.5°
